Re: MOTD Suggestion #2
Hmm... maybe if it is just limited to having maybe 1 banner/header as an image, and custom icons - if you know what I mean.
Re: MOTD Suggestion #2
It's only a "Message of the Day", it dosn't have to be like a website. Although maybe we could add a feature where you can make a HTML styled info box for stuff such as Server Rules and the Admin Team. Also if we did make a Info Box as well we should make it optional.

*TOPICS MERGED*
I decided to just go ahead and add XML/HTML/XHTML, Modern RTF, and Modern TXT support so users can have a variety of options. This also allows linking to the user's homepage or rules page on their site, which links the game and their site, allowing them to update both with one edit.

Re: MOTD Suggestion #1
Since our plans later changed on this, I don't think this part will matter any longer. We will be making a new GUI for GTA3:MTA/MTA:VC more than likely due to the current one's extreme bugs and limitations, so a MOTD such as this might not matter anymore.

Re: [UPDATES] MOTD Suggestion #1
Well, if it's just a "Message Of The Day" then it wouldn't really matter how we would support this, but most likely server owners are going to use it as a "WM" Welcome Message...
So, really I like the idea of supporting HTML and such.
BTW, If it's on a website, then the server owner would be able to update it using CRON JOB.

Re: [UPDATES] MOTD Suggestion #1
I think Welcome Message is really better than MOTD. Here are the reasons: Who will change the MOTD every day? Who will read the new MOTDs every day? I think most of servers will have also website with actual events and changelogs
