Just a question, since we have acquired the source code, does this mean sync improvements, and possible lag fixing?

Yes. That will be a part of 0.6 itself. For 0.5, we are simply cleaning up the code, converting it to be Visual Studio 2008 compatible, and open sourcing it for everyone to use. For 0.6, we will be using this open sourced 0.5 code as a base and modifying it from there.
